County Seat population (2016): 1,452
Bryson City is called a city, but it's actually a town. THEY'RE LYING TO US!
Anyway, Bryson City is the PERFECT mountain town. Small, beautiful views of the landscape, and plenty of small businesses. We walked around downtown and ate at a really good restaurant.
The town is also famous for having the Great Smoky Mountain express. Which is a train if you didn't know.
A river goes through the town, and there's lots of old buildings too. Speaking of old buildings, I got the Old courthouse. The old one is now a visitor center.
